Schools

Several tailored dispute resolution programs have and continue to be provided to local Bend-area primary and secondary schools. Over the years these have included peer-to-peer, anti-bullying, and peacemaker programs focused on helping students resolve disagreements on their own or through the assistance of a trusted peer recognized school-wide for their maturity and ability to effectively communicate with the widest range of students. A top priority is to expand our services to as many elementary and high school students as possible across school districts within Crook, Deschutes, and Jefferson Counties. Partnerships with school districts and the High Desert Education Service District (HDESD) will prove critical to that success. Additionally, we've begun development of higher education programs appropriate for community and university college students being exposed to alternative dispute resolution (ADR) subject matter as part of many undergraduate studies.
