The Executive Director, Gary Winterstein attended the quarterly Oregon Association of Community Dispute Resolution Centers (OACDRC) forum held in Salem, Oregon. A diverse range of Restorative Justice or RJ programs were discussed, most notably for youth in schools. Also, a leadership update was provided by the Oregon Mediation Association (OMA) on its upcoming strategy, board and membership changes. And finally, the Association 'Best Practices' committee presented their work on mediation learning objectives, competency, certification, and continuing education to be adopted Association-wide.
