Deschutes County Justice Court Judge Fladeley hosted an annual luncheon for staff and volunteers from Community Solutions in Redmond, Oregon. The Board President, Cyndy Cook, Executive Director, Gary Winterstein, and several volunteer mediators attended. Judge Fladeley thanked the organization for our work in support of the Court's Pre-trail mediation program, as well as discussing options to improve the program for the future. Added authorities for our mediators to extend or reschedule cases was provided, as well as agreement on how to improve mediated case agreements through informational flyers and website improvements. Our organization values the Court as a major partner in dispute resolution and we provide mediation support for some 100 cases annually.
